Fire and Water
I took this picture within a few minutes of Number Five. I’ll try not to post such similar pictures so close to each other in the future, but I think the much simpler composition and lack of color makes these two fairly different. There on the left you can see the Jet d’Eau, one of Geneva’s most distinctive landmarks. It shoots 460 feet high, which would make it the 17th tallest structure in Switzerland if it were a building (according to my comparison to Wikipedia’s list of tallest structures in Switzerland, which includes bridges measured from the bottom of gorges. Also it’s taller than any other building in Geneva by quite a long shot). At any given time there are ~1,850 gallons of water in the air, about how much you should drink in six years. Pretty cool fountain.
